Meet Your Instructor

Hi, my name is Julia Dimakos and I garden in zone 5a/b in Mono, Ontario, Canada. I currently have a formal 2000 square foot kitchen garden, which has just recently been expanded to 7000 square feet.

I am passionate about teaching others to grow vegetable gardens of their own and I do this through speaking engagements, writing, video and my blog at www.juliadimakos.com.

I believe that gardening can be simple and fun, from seed starting, growing, harvesting, seed saving, to beyond the harvest. I am also currently working on my first book.

You can also find my articles in the Canadian Organic Grower Magazine.
