Tatsoi is a member of the mustard family. A very mild mustard, it tastes similar to bok choy and can be grown together. Small spoon-shaped leaves grow in a rosette formation, filling out the space as they grow and reaching up to a foot across.
Harvest individual baby leaves, or wait and harvest entire heads once they fill out.
Use tatsoi in stir fries, salads, or soups. Best grown in the spring and fall, similar to all other Asian greens.
