Rosy Finch Microdwarf

53 in stock

A pink cherry tomato that is juicy, mildly sweet, and mildly acidic. Skin is thin with a pleasant chew and crack resistant.

Plants grow to a maximum height of 1 foot when grown in a raised bed. Grow them in a 1-gallon pot indoors under grow lights, in the garden or a greenhouse. Plants are abundant and will produce countless fruit throughout the season. My plants showed high disease resistance to late blight and other tomato viruses.

Growing Information:

Start seeds indoors at least 6 - 8 weeks before the final frost date. Please refer to my Seed Starting Calculator for specific planting dates for your area. Alternatively, you can start them anytime indoors and grow them through the winter under grow lights. Fruits will be ready for harvest approximately 3 months after sowing.

* The container size will control the final size of your plants. A smaller pot will keep the plants compact, while a raised bed or large container will allow the plant roots to expand and grow to a maximum height of 2 feet. For microdwarf-sized plants, grow this variety in a 1-gallon pot.

Transplant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed, and space your plants a minimum of 2 feet apart. Plants require little staking except for a bamboo cane or a small tomato cage. Leave all suckers in place, as the plant will grow as a determinate type.

Tomatoes grow best in full sun.

Shipping Information

Canadian Shipping

Shipping is calculated at the time of order and is based on the number of seed packets per order. All packages are shipped through Canada Post, and pricing for packages containing seeds are the same for addresses across Canada.

Larger items are calculated by weight and destination and will vary by province.

US Shipping

US seed orders are made at the buyer’s own risk, and we cannot guarantee delivery. We will receive and ship orders but cannot account for the actions of foreign customs, which is the reason for this non-guarantee. Unfortunately, I do not offer phytosanitary certificates, so if the seeds are confiscated or destroyed at the border, your order will not be refunded or reissued.

Non-seed orders are calculated by weight and destination and vary by state.

We cannot ship orders outside of North America.
