A flat yellow pole bean originating from Venice, Italy. This is an early producing Romano bean, with a delicious buttery, sweet flavour. Ready to harvest in approximately 55 days, which is early for a long, flat bean! You’ll want to stay on top of harvesting, to encourage continuous fruit production.
Pods grow to a length of 10 inches and may be as wide as 1 inch! Eat them fresh off the plant, steam, saute, roast or add raw to a salad. Grow them with Supermarconi, for a fun colour contrast.
This variety has black seeds.
