Lepidium sativum

Also known as Garden Cress or Winter Cress, this is a fast growing vegetable that prefers to grow in cooler conditions, making it ideal for a spring or fall garden. Leaves sit atop thin stems and are finely divided, looking very similar to chervil. Flavour is sweet, peppery and mildly spicy.

Begin harvesting individual leaves as early as 15 days from sowing or anytime afterwards. Curly cress will bolt in warm temperatures.

This is an easy to grow leafy vegetable.
