Bosque Blue Bumblebee Tomato

$4.75

Categories: , Tag:

Originally developed by J & L Gardens in New Mexico, 'Bosque Blue Bumblebee' is a cross between 'Amy's Sugar Gem' and 'OSU Blue' (the bluest tomato on the market). Bred to naturally contain high levels of anthocyanins, similar to blueberries, pomegranates and red onions.

Fruits grow in clusters, producing countless 2-inch round cherry tomatoes. As fruits develop, colour changes from purply-blue to golden yellow with deep purple-blue shoulders.

Flavour is sweet and juicy. Flesh is nice and thick too, while the skin breaks down easily when you chew.

Growing Information:

Plants are indeterminate and require good staking to support tall growing vines and trusses laden with fruit.

Start seeds indoors at least 6 - 8 weeks before the final frost date. Please refer to my Seed Starting Calculator for specific planting dates for your area.

Transplant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed and space your plants a minimum of 2 to 3 feet apart, depending on how well you stake them. Be sure to stay on top of removing suckers.

Tomatoes grow best in full sun.

Canadian Shipping
Shipping is calculated at the time of order and is based on the number of seed packets per order. All packages are shipped through Canada Post and pricing is the same for addresses across Canada.

Larger items are calculated by weight and destination.

International Orders
International seed orders are made at the buyer’s own risk and we cannot guarantee delivery. We will receive and ship orders, but cannot account for the actions of foreign customs, which is the reason for this non-guarantee. Unfortunately, I do not offer phytosanitary certificates so in the rare chance the seeds are confiscated or destroyed at the border, your order will not be refunded or reissued.

Non-seed orders are calculated by weight and destination.
