I'm excited to be offering 'Blush' tomatoes again this year!  Developed by breeder, Fred Hempel, of Artisan Seeds in 2011, 'Blush' is an open-pollinated variety that has received amazing success and interest.

This variety produces fruit that grow to a length of 2 to 3 inches and have an oblong rounded shape, tapering to a point at the blossom end. Shape is similar to 'Brad's Atomic Grape'. Colour matures into a gorgeous mango yellow, with pinkish-orange streaking.

I would describe the flavour of this tomato as sweet and mild in acidity, with a tropical feel. Delicious eaten fresh off the vine or raw in a salad.

I first grew 'Blush' tomatoes in 2014 and they are still one of my favourite cherry tomato types!

Plants are indeterminate and require good staking to support tall growing vines.

Start seeds indoors at least 6 - 8 weeks before the final frost date. Please refer to my Seed Starting Calculator for specific planting dates for your area.

Transplant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed. Space plants a minimum of 2 to 3 feet apart, depending on how well plants are staked. Stay on top of removing suckers.

Tomatoes grow best in full sun.

Shipping Information

Canadian Shipping

Shipping is calculated at the time of order and is based on the number of seed packets per order. All packages are shipped through Canada Post, and pricing for packages containing seeds are the same for addresses across Canada.

Larger items are calculated by weight and destination and will vary by province.

US Shipping

US seed orders are made at the buyer’s own risk, and we cannot guarantee delivery. We will receive and ship orders but cannot account for the actions of foreign customs, which is the reason for this non-guarantee. Unfortunately, I do not offer phytosanitary certificates, so if the seeds are confiscated or destroyed at the border, your order will not be refunded or reissued.

Non-seed orders are calculated by weight and destination and vary by state.

We cannot ship orders outside of North America.
